Qualitative and quantitative research methods

Topics in this module are presented in the form of practical workshops related to specific methods of data collection and analysis, across both qualitative and quantitative domains.

The faculty provides research training support in the form of this and other free modules as part of a process of promoting a vibrant research culture within the faculty and the Division of Arts and Social Sciences, by engaging established and emerging researchers to talk about how they go about their own work with a focus on how they conceptualise and enact the research process.

Interested researchers are welcome at any – or all – workshops but are advised that (as mentioned above) all four sessions relating to questionnaire construction are regarded as components of a single "workshop", so that attendance at the first session, requires commitment to all of them.
