How do we teach sustainability? Not just for our students though the education system, but in our workplace as well. Join us for a book launch followed by a panel discussion with some of the authors of a recently published book on learning about sustainability. Enough for All Forever has been written specifically for educators: classroom practitioners; school and system administrators and managers; those who develop curriculum; academics; and others who share the goal of environmental equity for all. It is about integrating sustainability into teaching and learning at all levels. The focus of the book is how to live sustainably, in harmony with a planet that has finite resources.
The contributors to the handbook also come from a diverse range of backgrounds and fields and include biologists, environmental scientists, educators, health scientists, artists, art historians, economists, geoscientists, indigenous cultural educators, business people and lawyers from around the world, all of them experts in their field and all committed to doing something about sustainability.
To be launched by Australian architect Richard Leplastrier.
