STIMULATING IDEAS FOR LITERACY-RICH PRIMARY CLASSROOMS

This workshop will help to answer common questions that students, beginning teachers and teachers new to a particular Year level ask, including 'How could my daily literacy session be structured?', 'What should I be teaching my students about reading and writing?', and 'How can I help my students become confident, successful readers and writers?'

• Speaker/ Performer: Robyn Wild has worked for the NSW Department of Education and Training as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, literacy consultant and senior curriculum officer in the Early Learning Unit. She works part-time at Macquarie University in the Education Faculty and the Institute of Early Childhood, and at the University of Sydney.
