ORTHODOXY AND HERESY IN POLICY AND PRACTICE: BOOK LAUNCH

26 November 2014

Please join us for the launch of this important book – edited by Helen Proctor, Patrick Brownlee and Peter Freebody – which is the culmination of the Sydney School of Education and Social Work's Education Heresies colloquium series held in 2013.

The series invited leading and emerging researchers to name what they took to be the deep flaws at the heart of contemporary educational policy and practice in Australia and globally.

Professor Diane Mayer, Dean of the Sydney School of Education and Social Work, will introduce the event followed by comments from the editors.

Copies of the book can be browsed and ordered online. The launch is an adjunct event to a symposium by school's School and Teacher Education Policy Research Network on the same day.
