ANDREW UPTON in conversation with PROFESSOR ROBYN EWING

The Sydney School of Education and Social Work invites its students, staff, alumni and friends to an address by Honorary Associate Andrew Upton, acclaimed playwright, screenwriter, producer, director, and artistic director of the Sydney Theatre Company.

The event will be hosted by Professor of Teacher Education and the Arts Robyn Ewing.

Because numbers are strictly limited, places in the event will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations are essential.

  • Speakers: Andrew Upton is a playwright, screenwriter, producer, director and artistic director of the Sydney Theatre Company (STC). He and his wife Cate Blanchett run their own film production company, Dirty Films (Bangers and Little Fish), and have worked with Robyn Ewing on the highly successful School Drama Project, in partnership with the STC’s education program and the school, where he is an Honorary Associate.


    Robyn Ewing is Professor of Teacher Education and the Arts in the Sydney School of Education and Social Work. She is currently national president of the Australian Literacy Educators Association (ALEA) and vice president of Sydney Story Factory.
