CONDUCTING GOOD PEER REVIEWS

15 October 2015 Change of date, time and venue

There is an art to conducting good, critical reviews that affirm the work that has been undertaken but provide useful and constructive feedback to authors. Research students and early-career researchers are often asked to undertake reviews without being provided with examples of ‘what a good one looks like’, or much guidance on how the process can best be undertaken. In this workshop, conducted by Dr Nicole Mockler (pictured), participants will be shown the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to conducting reviews. They will also work with some adapted examples that highlight how to/how not to approach the task.
