Making more of languages

Speakers at this important professional development opportunity will report on recent research and developments in languages teaching and learning before participants will be invited to choose from 35 workshops being offered across three themes: teaching a language other than English in primary-school classroom settings; teaching a language other than English in secondary-school classroom settings; and school/program organisation for meeting the challenges posed by teaching languages other than English. Key languages teachers and school executives will lead the workshops, exploring innovative and creative ways to teach and organise the teaching of languages for children aged from Kindergarten to Year 12, across all types of school settings.
