Engaging research: partnerships for educational and social change

A FORUM AND ROUNDTABLE ON RESEARCH COMMUNITIES IN EDUCATION, SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL POLICY

3 November 2016

This one-day forum will bring together representatives from industry, government and the community sector with academics from the Sydney School of Education and Social Work to learn from and think about innovative research collaboration.

The school has partnered with more than 30 agencies and industries in recent years on diverse research projects in education, social work and social policy. This event reflects upon and shares insights from some of those collaborations to inform and inspire new partnerships on issues of mutual concern.

The event includes a series of invitation-only concurrent roundtable discussions about indigenous education; the design of learning spaces; transformative social policy; and big data and assessment in education.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
