Primary teaching Professional Experiences

Professional experience (practice teaching) is integral to both of the primary-school teacher-education degrees offered by The University of Sydney. It commences in Year 1 in both instances: the four-year bachelor's degree and two-year master's.

The faculty is continually building and sustaining partnerships with schools and centres that offer professional experience placements. Professional learning opportunities are offered to teachers to strengthen their capacity to effectively mentor our pre-service teachers.
