Registering for a placement

Online registration will be available from 18 May 2012 to 5 June 2012 for students undertaking practicums in:

• Masters of Teaching, Secondary Internship

Online registration will be available from 23 May 2012 to 6 June 2012 for students undertaking practicums in:

• Masters of Teaching, Secondary Year 1

Students in other programs will be notified by email of the opening and closing dates for registration.

Masters of Teaching, Primary Internship
Students enrolled in the MTeach Primary mode will be returning to the same school where they undertook their MTeach Year 2 professional experience. Students are not required to go online and enter preferences. Students will be required to complete the Consent to Screening, Privacy and Disclosure form and the declaration form indicating they have completed all their credit points.

Masters of Teaching, Secondary Internship
Given the critical shortage of placements in the Secondary area, students enrolled in the MTeach Secondary program are permitted to find their own placement or enter preferences online. Students will be required to complete the Consent to Screening, Privacy and Disclosure form and the declaration form indicating they have completed all their credit points. Online registration will not be open until after the Masters of Year 2 Professional Experience Placement has commenced.

Please make sure your enrollment details, especially your address – which may affect the placement to which you are assigned – and contact phone numbers are correct. You can check and amend these details through myUni.

Students must regularly check their University email. Emails will not be sent to any other email address.
