Casual parking on campus
Parking on the Camperdown and Darlington campuses (Map refs: B3, C3, E7, L4, L5, L8, O6, O8) is limited so we recommend visitors consider alternative travel options, or plan to arrive early. If you can't find parking on campus try the streets surrounding the University (including Glebe on the other side of Parramatta Road), or Broadway Shopping Centre where the first three hours of parking is free.

Tickets
Casual parking tickets are purchased from the pay and display vending machines located around the campus car parks. Please display the printed ticket on the vehicle dashboard, in accordance with the instructions printed upon it. Tickets machines accept coins and notes and certain credit cards, but no change is given. Change machines for converting notes to coins are located around the campus, however we strongly advise visitors not to rely on these machines. Please bring coins with you as they do run out of change. Any vehicle not displaying a current University parking permit, an approved temporary visitor's pass or a valid Pay and Display ticket is liable to receive an infringement notice.
Disabled parking
Drivers with a current valid RTA Mobility Parking Permit are authorised to park free of charge in marked disabled parking bays and in any other unrestricted parking bay. The University DOES NOT guarantee a vacant disabled parking bay and DOES NOT allow parking in bays marked with restrictions such as "University Owned Vehicles Only" and "Loading Zone".
Signs and fines
All drivers must comply with any signage or pavement markings that appear at access points to University grounds and car parks. Infringement Notices may be issued by authorised University Traffic and Security Officers and will be processed by the State Debt Recovery Office. Fines are subject to enforcement in the same way as if the offence occurred on a public street. The present fine applicable for illegally parking on the University campus is at least $86.00. This penalty is determined under the Australian Road Rules and is not established by the University.
