Overview

This year’s Successful Learning Conference will showcase exemplary educational practices for teaching students with additional learning needs, including those which are the result of social disadvantage.

The program includes presentations and workshops on literacy, numeracy and behaviour management made by academics, consultants, and practitioners from education sectors across Australia.

Where & When

The conference venue is the Harold Park Raceway Function Centre on the corner of The Crescent and Wigram Road, Glebe – only minutes from the University Campus across Parramatta Road. Download a map of the area here, or visit www.whereis.com for directions.

Registration will be held in the foyer each morning between 8:00–8:50am with tea and coffee available on arrival.

Venue details for workshops and feature presentations will be available at registration.

Parking & Public Transport

Parking is available at the venue on Centre Field. There is also limited parking in a small carpark next to the function centre. Please note that on the Tuesday of the conference that Harold Park Raceway is in operation in the afternoon. Parking is free.

Harold Park is also well serviced by public transport with buses running regularly from the City via Central. Routes 431, 432, 433 & 434 depart from George Street in the City and travel along Broadway and down Glebe Point Road. These services pass Harold Park and it is only a short walk to the function centre.
