Informed by national and international trends in English and the Arts, this conference will promote collegial conversation and vibrant debate on research, scholarship, teaching and learning. This is an important opportunity for all involved in these fields to come together to:
- examine how English and the Arts can be forces for meaningful student engagement in authentic learning;
- promote the central role of creativity, imagination and innovation in teaching and learning;
- share pedagogical approaches to teaching senior secondary English and drama along with practical applications of digital technology in English and the Arts;
- investigate the implications of a National Curriculum for teachers, students, English and the Arts;
- share and showcase contemporary developments in pedagogy, curriculum policy and assessment in these fields.

Call for Papers
Submission deadline extended until Friday 12 September 2008
Educators in the fields of English and Arts education including researchers, scholars, teachers, teacher-educators, prospective teachers, and policy makers are invited to submit proposals for papers, panels and workshops. Full details
Fees & Registration
Fees per person, GST inclusive. Full-day conference catering provided.
*Group rate applies to two or more registrants from the same school or organisation.
