Indigenous Research Collaboration events

The IRC organises and hosts events and activities for researchers, students, community groups and government representatives with an interest in social justice and Indigenous education and issues. Some of these are listed below.

  • Annual Indigenous Research Collaboration – this is a forum for researchers to network with one another as well as to discuss and share their studies and findings, and explore possibilities for future research directions and collaborations.

  • Seminars in Indigenous research – researchers from both within and outside the University will be invited to speak at lunchtime seminars on their areas of research. Seminars will be held four times throughout the year.

Visiting Scholar Program

The Visiting Scholar Program enables academics working in the area of Indigenous research to come to the school to work on collaborative research projects with members of the IRC Network.
