About the Policy and Professional Practice Research Network

The Policy and Professional Practice Research Network was established in 2007 and brings together teachers, researchers, policymakers and others involved in the examination of educational policy and professional practice.



Aims

The network was established to provide:

  • intellectual space where its core members, research students and other interested persons within the Faculty of Education and Social Work will contribute to the debates related to policy, practice and professionalism at a national as well as an international level

  • academic leadership by making significant contributions to the literature in the field and by hosting seminars and other events

  • a forum for the development of research projects in the areas of policy, practice and professional learning.
