Teaching and learning

Research into teaching and learning explores the process of education in all stages of human development and across different societies. Research in these areas occurs around three interlaced themes: pedagogy and the practice of teaching; specific curriculum areas, exploring what teachers teach and why; and the context of teaching in schools and other formal education settings, at different levels, in occupations, and in organisations.
