Strategic Networking for Women assists academic women in overcoming institutional and workplace barriers. Female academics sign up to be matched with a mentor who can offer advice and support based on their own experience as a woman in the workplace.

The absence of mentoring, sponsoring, social networking and role models in the current workplace makes advancement for women tougher. This is an opportunity for academic women to develop relationships that potentially increase opportunities for career development and advancement.

For those who become mentors, it’s also a way to give back to the community and support the next generation of women to be successful.
