What's New / What's Due Course Dashboard
A snapshot of what is happening in each of your individual courses. Upcoming assignments and new postings to the discussion threads will be shown here.

Notification Dashboard for all your courses
A feature of Blackboard Learn is the Notification Dashboard that collates updates and notifications from all your courses and displays them on the one page. You can personalise the Dashboard by changing the colour scheme and adding and/or removing 'Modules' from your page. To access the Notification Dashboard for all your courses - select the tab next to your 'My Units of Study' once you have logged into your eLearning course list. Below is a screen shot of a Notification Dashboard with a number of useful modules added to the page.

Useful Modules to add to the Notification Dashboard
- What's New - this complies all the new content that is coming from all your Learn eLearning courses.
- My Tasks - can be used as to-do list, and also shows tasks set by your lecturer that need to be completed.
- Report Card - shows your grades as they are published by your lecturer.
- Useful Student Links - links to student services, handbooks online, ICT and the library.
The 'What’s new' module displays a list of upcoming assessments and new learning materials that have been added to the course by your lecturers. Keep organised by using the 'My Tasks' module and schedule your assessment tasks. These and other modules pull from different course items such as course information, assignments, assessments, blog entries, surveys, journal entries, discussion board posts, grade changes, group information and announcements.
You can customise the Notifications Dashboard by clicking the Add Module and Personalize Page buttons on the Action Bar.
Students Resource
This dashboard functions as a news and informationfeed for students. It groups together help links, news feeds and academic learning resource links into one page as an informational source for students.
Examples of the information listed in Students Dashboard:
- Video Tutorials from the Blackboard Learning centre
- Library News - RSS feed from the library on new additions to the library.
- Quick links to Sydney eLearning help pages for any queries you have with using your eLearning sites.
- Student Learning Links - links to university run academic support for students.
