Java for Blackboard

Blackboard Learn requires the latest version of Java. The latest version can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com. Follow the prompts to check your version of Java. If needed, you will be prompted to install the latest version.

Plugins

Some of your unit of study websites will require browser plug-ins to view audio or media files. Browsers will generally automatically download any plug-in required by a particular page.

PDFS

PDFs are one of the most popular document format used in the LMS and you will need the Acrobat Reader plugin to access them.

The Acrobat Reader plugin lets you view, navigate, and print Portable Document Format (PDF) files in your browser window and is available for download at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
