Missing or extra sites?
I am missing Units of Study sites from my eLearning sites course list.
I have extra UoS sites that I have not enrolled in my course list when I login to eLearning
Missing Sites
If you can login to your eLearning, but don't see the list of eLearning sites that you expect then one of the following reasons may apply:
UoS course has no complementary elearning site
Not every unit of study at Sydney University has an eLearning site, and not every eLearning site is available to students from the first day of semester. You may need to email or ask your lecturer or unit coordinator that your UoS has an eLearning site, and ask when that eLearning site will be released to students.
You have changed your enrollment details
If you have recently changed your enrollment details with Student Services, either online or in person, there will be a lag of up to 3 days at the beginning of semester as your details are processed through from student services to the eLearning databases.
Has the Semester or session started?
Most eLearning sites start on the first day of semester or the first day of the session. You can check the official session dates by using the link on the right-hand side of the page. Some lecturers may request that their course starts earlier or later than the beginning of semester. Please clarify with your lecturer that they have requested an eLearning site for your UoS course.
Extra sites
Recently changed enrollment
You have recently withdrawn from the subject(s). If you can see eLearning sites for UoS that you’re not enrolled in, this may be either because you have recently withdrawn from that unit of study or because you were enrolled in the unit of study last semester. When you try to access the eLearning site you will almost certainly find that you are denied access. This eLearning site should disappear within a few days.
Previously enrolled in the UoS subject
You were previously enrolled in the UoS last semester. Sometimes a lecturer will allow students to access their eLearning site for an extended period. This may be for revision purposes or because other students are required to sit a supplementary exam. Some UoS courses have placement criteria, and sites will be left open while students are on placement to help facilitate assessment.
Extra eLearning site is not a UoS course
Some degree courses and faculties have specialised eLearning courses for students in their faculties or degrees. They may be designed to help you with specific skills, e.g: Research in Health Sciences, Laboratory OH&S or Post-graduate discussion boards and will be open to students enrolled in particular UoS codes, degrees or faculties. These eLearning sites are part of your enrollment.
