• SuTEN is helding its 3rd Tissue Engineering Symposium on Tuesday, November the 9th 2010 . 
  
  
• World Class Grant awarded for the meeting "Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine: The next 20 years" hosted and co-sponsored by the University of Sydney in November 2010.
  
  The grant is for the development of new and advancement of existing  research collaborations with Columbia University, Massachusetts  Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Princeton University,  Yale University and Pennsylvania University in engineering functional human tissues for regenerative  medicine and fundamental research.
  
  A one-day Symposium and a two-day  workshop by the leaders from these seven universities (including Sydney University), with open  attendance for senior and junior University of Sydney researchers, will be co-convened  by Dr Hala Zreiqat from the University of Sydney and Professor Gordana  Vunjak-Novakovic from Columbia University.
