Research
The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney has a strong research focus, with an emphasis on fundamentals as well as the broader applications of engineering research. The interests of our academic staff range from BioProcess Engineering through to Energy and the Environment, Minerals and Resources, Polymers and Systems Engineering, Product and Process Design and Smart Fluids. In fact, our research activity covers the full gamut of R&D in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Much of our research is funded through prestigious Australian Research Council Awards as well as direct industry funding. We are also committed to fostering relationships with other organisations and industry collaborators to enhance the quality and relevance of our research activities.
