School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
The Laboratory for Sustainable Technology in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney undertakes multidisciplinary research to develop sustainable products and processes which maximise resource and energy efficiency and minimise environmental impact. We have a steady state population of 25 staff and visitors, and have raised more than $5 million in competitive research funding since 2004 to support our work.
We have ongoing projects in nanotechnology, renewable energy, the hydrogen economy and zero-emission process design as well as several industrial consulting projects in related fields. Please refer to our research page for more information. Prospective research students should note that we always have scholarships available for exceptional applicants in the following areas 2009 new projects.
