Research project - Rotating a Tilted Building Structure by means of Controlled Excavation

There are several techniques to stabilise a tilted building where the most promising one could be the controlled extraction of soil at various chosen locations. This research aims at developing finite element codes to perform selective excavation for elastic, elasto-plastic and poroelastic materials and also to make the use of infinite elements to model boundaries.
