Software

SciGEM has developed a suite of computer software programs to address specialised geotechnical engineering problems.

The programs are all fully operational on a PC. They are written in Visual Basic and Fortran.

A user's manual is available for each program upon purchase or download, which describes the problems the program is capable of addressing, the theoretical background of the solution procedure, the input data required and the output generated.

A demonstration version is available for some programs.

A student version is also available for some programs. The student version has restrictions not imposed on the full version; however, these restrictions allow sufficient functionality for teaching purposes. There is no charge for these student versions, and they may be distributed freely to students for teaching purposes only. They must not be used for commercial work.
