About the presenter:

Prof. Hsiao is from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Taiwan's National Chiao Tung University, and is sponsored by the Australian Academy of Sciences to visit us for a period of two weeks. He obtained bachelor and masters degrees from the civil engineering department of National Taiwan University, and PhD from the aeronautical engineering department of Imperial College London.
