Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the sources of IS project failures and better understand the IS field, and IS creation in an organizational context. The research adopts a systemic framework to understand the problematic, ill-structured, and multi-disciplinary problem situations associated with information systems implementation and their failures. The presentation addresses the creation of a generic triple-S framework as a new and viable conceptual framework for identifying and delineating the various sources of IS project failures.
