Seminar - Nicole Hensman - Strategic Analysis of Dynamic Organisations

Abstract

This presentation will delineate the research into dynamic organisations. Firstly, the author will outline why this research is significant in the current environment and the objectives of my research. Secondly, the author will explain the first phase of this research with co-workers Prof Ali Jaafari and Mr Karel Valenta. The group is attempting to define the current state of PM capability in Australia. This research is being carried out in cooperation with Bremen University in Germany. Similar studies are being carried out in various countries to allow for global comparisons. The author & Mr Valenta will expand on this study individually to incorporate it into further research aligned with their theses. The author will be using this research, alongside a literature review, to assist in developing a diagnostic tool to characterise dynamic organisations. The presentation will look out what this diagnostic tool will be used for.
