Seminar - Tim Finnigan - Overview of Research Activities in Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Ocean Power

Abstract
This seminar reviews some of the current research activities, and some planned projects, in my areas of interest: Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Ocean Power. Over the past year I have focused on building the framework and infrastructure upon which to grow an experimental research program. I will describe the progress made during this time. Some new experimental facilities will be described in context with planned research projects that will utilize the facilities. Finally, preliminary results will be presented from research that is currently underway.
