Abstract:
The economies of the Gulf countries are zooming ahead. Dubai is a modern wonder. These countries welcome outside experts to help them create the world’s best. Project managers, teachers, University lecturers, engineers, artists and many more are needed in the region. It is a place where Islam and the ultra modern world coexist.



William O’Toole, the Associate Director of the Project Management Graduate Programme, www.pmgp.usyd.edu.au, has been working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Dubai as a consultant for the last five years. Bill will present his ‘tips and tricks’ for working in the region.
