Equipment
The equipment available to the Centre through the Fluids Laboratory consists in:
Optical flow measurement devices
- Particle Image Velocimetry systems
- Digital cameras (e.g., with a range of resolutions and frequencies)
- Acustic Doppler Velocimetry devices
- Laser sources (e.g., low power and high power pulse laser generators)
Pressure sensors
- A range of pressure sensors for air flow measurements is available and used in the wind tunnels
Water quality meters
- A range of sensors is available and used in water-related experiments in the Fluid Laboratory, and in field sampling (e.g., pH, turbidity, DO concentration, salinity, etc.)
