Mr Ian Laird

Personal

Ian Laird graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2008 with a BEng (Hons. I) in Mechatronic Engineering. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power electronics) at the University of Sydney. He currently holds an APA and Norman I. Price scholarships and previously worked with the CSIRO Material Science and Engineering division in Lindfield, Sydney.

Research

His research interests include thermoelectric power generation, power electronics topology modelling and design, and maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control schemes.
