Personal Details

 

Jingyu Zhang has completed his PhD studies at the University of Sydney. He is an IT professional with over 12 years’ work experience combining research and development skills using Java (J2EE, J2SE, J2ME) and C++ technologies and tools for the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise systems in telecommunications, capital markets, education, e-business and the biological industries. He has a strong knowledge of the full product life cycle of design and implementation through to customer shipment, in both large and small team environments. He has worked on a number of middleware-related research and enterprise products, including software design, software development, software performance modeling and mobile-cloud computing. Since working at the University of Sydney, he has published 16 research papers in these areas and he has won 12 awards, including the University's Research Excellence award and a Postgraduate Research Prize awarded by Microsoft.
