The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies Dean's International Lecture Series brings key international guest speakers in the fields of engineering and information technologies to the University of Sydney.
So far we have had the honour to host the following prestigious guests:
Sir David Higgins
Chief Executive Network Rail (UK)
Sir David Higgins, knighted for his work on Europe's biggest construction project - the Olympic Park in London, delivered the Dean's International Lecture on 8 October 2012. In the lecture Sir David argued that infrastructure is much more than just a discounted cash flow. It is a national asset.

NASA Astronaut and Adjunct Professor
On 2 August 2011, Dr Greg Chamitoff, NASA astronaut and adjunct professor at the University, bought to life the final flight of the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
