Project Management (Online Mode) Applications

Information for students applying for Project Management who wish to study online only

Application Checklist

  • Completed application form.
  • Original or certified copy of your academic transcript giving a complete list of the subjects studied and the results obtained. The transcript should include an explanation of the marking scale used.
  • Original or certified copy of your testamur or proof of completion stating degree awarded.
  • If English is not your first language you must demonstrate English language proficiency.
  • Domestic students: A certified copy of your proof of citizenship or permanent residency. If you have PR you must provide the details page of your passport along with the PR visa page with the date the visa was granted and the page showing the immigration stamp with date of entry into Australia (if visa granted outside of Australia).
  • International students: A certified copy of your citizenship document/passport.
  • Documentary evidence of any name change if documents were issued under a different name.
  • An official translation of any/all documents in a language other than English.
  • A copy of your curriculum vitae/resume.

Certified Documents

All documents submitted must either be original documents or certified copies of original documents. Certified documents must bear the original stamp, name, and signature of the person certifying the copy.

Documents may be certified by a Justice of the Peace (JP), the institution which issued the documents, or (outside of Australia) a Notary Public, Australian embassy/consulate, authorised University of Sydney representative, or International Office staff at a university.

You are welcome to submit your application by email to ; however we will also need to receive your hardcopy application with original/certified documents by post.

Application outcome

All applicants will be notified of the result by email. Successful applicants will receive a letter of offer and information about the enrolment process.

Please note that if you reside in the Sydney metropolitan area, you will be required to attend an in-person enrolment session even if you will be undertaking the program by online mode, as you will receive academic advice at this time.

Information for International Students

International students residing outside of Australia

If you are an international student studying in online mode only and will be residing outside of Australia during your studies, please send your application directly to the Graduate School of Engineering & IT as per the above instructions. No application processing fee is required.

International students residing in Australia

Student visa holders may undertake no more than 25% of their total course by distance and/or online learning and must not enrol in exclusively distance or online study in any compulsory study period.

Holders of other visas may be eligible to complete a course of study online (please check your visa permission details with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship). International students in this situation should contact the Graduate School of Engineering & IT to discuss application procedures.
