AUC scholarship

IT students Greg Darke and Sam Thorogood have been awarded Honours Scholarships from the Apple University Centre (AUC).

The scholarships, for honours students working research projects that in some way depends on or uses uniquely Apple technologies, are awarded based on academic merit as well as the student’s interest and passion for the research area.
Sam’s project looks at the identity, history and lineage of files. He was also awarded an AUC Seeding Grant earlier in the year for this project.

Greg is working on activity driven file interfaces, and together with students Katie Bell and James Bunton won funding from AUC to attend the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference that was held in San Francisco.

Congratulations to Greg, Sam, Katie and James.
