(for conferred qualifications only)

A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) (also known as Reduced Volume of Learning (RVL)) can mean a reduction in the number of units required to complete your degree and shorten the duration of your program.

Depending on the level and type of your previous tertiary studies, you may be eligible for RPL upon entry into the following School of Information Technologies postgraduate programs from Semester 1, 2015 onwards:

Applicants who apply for RPL are normally advised if they are eligible for when they receive their offer for the program, so please ensure that you apply for RPL at the time of application.

Please refer to the corresponding links above for the full RPL guidelines for each qualification in the School of Information Technologies postgraduate program from Semester 1, 2015 onwards.

* Note: RPL is not available for the embedded qualifications of the MIT or MITM i.e. Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in IT or IT Management. RPL is only available for entry into the Master’s program for these programs (MIT, MITM or the MIT / MITM combined degree).
