Progression requirements

There are three types of reviews generally for research students:

• Annual Progress Review
• Probation Review
• Upgrade Review (only for MPhil/MSc students who wish to be transferred to PhD).

To help ensure progression, all students are required to:

• Attend lectures/short courses as specified by the Head of School and your supervisor
• Have contact with Supervisor on a regular basis
• Regularly attend School seminars and research laboratory meetings.
