Construction of AR/VR development environment for remove collaboration

This project aims at constructing a general development environment and example to create Augmented/Virtual Reality applications targeted towards a remove collaboration application. It involves the research and evaluation of current state-of-art development environment for various AR/VR technologies, such as Oculus Rift/Hive/Hololens, and actually building up the development environment as well as comprehensive documentation of the application development.

Development of Online Self-Organizing Map tools

This project aims to construct the online service using the Self-Organizing Map networks. It will be designed to provide the Data Visualisation as well as analytics functions as a web service.

These scholarships are valued at $6,000 for 12 weeks.

To be eligible for a Summer Scholarship you must:

  • be a high achieving 3rd year undergraduate student with a competitive WAM. (high performing 2nd/4th year or master by coursework students may be considered);
  • be currently enrolled in a full-time program at the University of Sydney;
  • have successfully completed at least one year of your course prior to the commencement of the Summer Scholarship;
  • Both local and international students are eligible.
