How to apply
Potential students are welcome to apply for a PhD or MPhil degree program with the School. In order to streamline the application procedure and promote a transparent process, this how-to document is prepared as a brief guideline. It should assist you in directing your efforts. The following is a set of general guidelines:

Ensure that you firstly meet the University requirements, such as the English requirements for international students. Then, check whether you meet the SIT entry requirements for your choice of research program. |

Determine your area of research interests. |

Identify a potential supervisor from the related research group, and obtain his/her approval for supervision and the topic of research. |

5. |
Apply using the standard university application form before the deadline for the chosen semester. See below. |

Applying - International Students
If you are an international student, there are 2 methods of applying to the University. You may apply direct to the University or through a University representative.

Note that international students must also satisfy English language requirements.
