ABSTRACT: The Diversiti 2006 IT Hiring Influence Report is the results of a national survey of qualifications and accreditations that influence employer hiring decisions in the IT industry. The report 3 key objectives were: - Determine the impact of various educational factors on hiring decisions - Quantify the influence of other factors on hiring decisions - Measure and report on IT employer sentiment and the market outlook for the next 12 month period The presenters will be Paul Rowley and Andrew Cross.
Paul Rowley National Business Development Manager
Paul joined Diversiti three years ago as the Melbourne Business Development Manager where he successfully grew and developed Diversiti’s key accounts in Victoria. In March of this year Paul moved into the role of National Business Development Manager, in which his primary focus is to grow Diversiti’s client base across the region and develop effective contingent workforce management solutions and outsourced recruitment related services. Identifying new and emerging recruitment opportunities across the Asia Pacific region are also key focuses. Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of London and has seven years experience working in management and business development roles within the recruitment industry.
Andrew Cross Sales & Delivery Manager
Andrew Cross is a highly experienced recruitment specialist with a successful history in the IT Industry. A valued leader, Andrew has forged strong relationships throughout his career with a number of Blue Chip Australian clients including Telstra, IBM and Optus.
Completing three years as a Senior Account Manager with Diversiti from 1999-2001, Andrew now re-joins Diversiti after a 2 year period working for Minter Ellison Lawyers as their National Key Client Relationship Manager.
Prior to joining Diversiti Andrew earned his recruitment skills working for Hays Personnel Services in the UK, before transferring to Australia as one of a small team tasked with the establishment of Hays IT Recruitment in Sydney. Andrew is also a trained lawyer specialising in Employment Law, and in his early career worked as a Business Analyst in the UK.
