Computer Science for High School (CS4HS) at the University of Sydney is a free three day workshop promoting computer science education.

High school maths, science and computing teachers are invited to attend.

The aim of the workshop is to provide you with skills and resources to teach computer science and computational thinking concepts in fun and relevant ways.

The workshops include short talks by some of Australia's leading academics. Some of the talks are followed by practical lab classes with materials and activities teachers can use in a classroom setting.

The next CS4HS workshop at Sydney will run from:

  Wednesday 1 October-Friday 3 October 2014 inclusive

The program for the October workshop will be available shortly, and registration is now open.

You can take a look at the activities from past workshops to get an idea of the material covered.

Financial assistance to attend

The workshop is free of charge, including lunches and dinner on Wednesday evening. For teachers outside the Sydney area a limited number of travel grants are available. Please for more information.
