My name is Andrew Lum and I am completed a PhD with the Smart Internet Technology research group at the School of Information Technologies, University of Sydney in 2006. My research interests are in the area of user modelling and scrutability, ontologies, the visualisation of ontology-based user models, metadata and tagging, and emerging web technologies.

I am currently a software engineer at Vignette, working on social networking, collaboration and knowledge management systems and next generation web applications.
