Until August of 2001 I was an Associate Lecturer with the Department
of Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Newcastle
in Australia. While employed as an Associate Lecturer I worked on my Ph.D.
thesis, which was titled: "Large Scale Relational
Information Visualization, Clustering, and Abstraction". This has now
been submitted and I await my reviews (email me if you want a copy, or
a copy of any of my papers).

In Semester 2 or 1998 and Semester 1 of 99 I was working in Austin, Texas as a Research Intern with Semantic Designs Inc. This company is researching and producing semantically driven software products to support the Maintenance effort. I worked on several visualization tools which tie in with my PhD research topic. |

a small shop. The work including stock taking, serving, ordering, bill payemnts, cash handelling and employee supervision.
