Choose one paper out of the following five for a 15 minute presentation
in week 12 and 13. Along with the presentation present a two page
summary of the paper. These presentation will be on week 12 and week 13.
Form groups of four people and send an email with the group members to
the tutors by Tuesday (10/05/2011) at 12:00. The papers and presentation
dates will then be assigned randomly to the groups.
The following papers will be assigned:
- Anomaly Detection
- Clustering
- Network Completion
- LogisticRegression
- Association Mining

Additional Information
- The final report as well as the presentation should be submittted via
the WebCT system.
- Each group can decide which group members do the presentation,
however, it is preferable that at least two are presenting and the
other members could help in the presentation of the report. Overall
the work should be split evenly between the group members.
- For the presentation you should aim for around 10 slides
maximum:
Slide 1: Name of the Paper and Team Members
Slide 2: Aim of the paper and main contribution(s)
Slide 3: Structure of the Paper
Slide 4-6: Example(s) to convey the key idea or ideas of the
paper. If it is a survey paper then how is the survey organized.
Slide 7-8: Highlights of the paper; something which caught your eye
or stands out. Or something that you found unique and
interesting.
Slide 9: Main drawback fo the paper
Slide 10: Summary and Conclusion
