I recently joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) Database Engine team. Prior to joining Amazon.com, I was a researcher at Embedded Operating Systems (ERTOS) Research Group of NICTA, guided by Prof. Gernot Heiser. Before that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Database Research Group, the University of Sydney, advised by Prof. Alan Fekete, and I also closely work with Dr. Uwe Roehm (senior lecturer).   My main research interests are in the areas of distributed systems, database systems and transaction processing.
