You have two mechanisms for doing a formally recognized major plan of study in Information Systems in the degree programs of Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts Informatics. You can also do some Information Systems studies in the degrees offered by the Faculty of Economics but you cannot complete an identifiable major under their regulations.

Students in the 2nd year of their BSc.program can transfer into an IS major and complete in minimum possible time if they do they following schedule and already have completed either COMP1000 or COMP1001:
ENGL 1050 or ECOF 1001/1002, COMP 2005
INFO 2000, INFO 2007, ISYS 3015, INFO 3005, ISYS 3012
Students in the 3rd year of their BSc program can transfer into an IS major and complete in minimum possible time if they do the following schedule and already have completed either COMP1000 or COMP1001 and COMP 2000:
ENGL 1050 or ECOF 1001/1002, COMP 2005
INFO 2007, ISYS 3015, INFO 3005, ISYS 3012
If you have completed COMP3005 then you do not need to do INFO2005.
Students wishing to transfer into the BA Informatics should enrol in the following units for 1999:
ENGL 1050 or ECOF 1001/1002, COMP 2005
Arrangements for 2000 require students to apply through UAC for entry. In 2001 transfers from other course will be considered on a case by case basis.
