Computational Linguistics, Computational Pragmatics, Lexical Semantics, Context, Ontology.
Modelling discourse purpose and interlocutor intentions computationally utilising dynamic contextual representations and domain knowledge. This research incorporates linguistic and paralinguistic features for the computation of meaning in context. Specifically, primary research interests entail the modelling of pragmatics in discourse and dialogue using question-based semantics (dynamic semantics and context update).
