To update your Microsoft Office software, the simplest way is to first go to Windows Update.
Open Internet Explorer, on the menu bar click Tools, then Windows Update. When that page loads, click the Office Family link. Near the top is a box labelled Office Update, click the link in that box labelled Check for Updates. Once your machine has been scanned, install the available updates.
