Thesis title: Numerical simulation on microscopic seepage field of soil CT scanned slices based on lattice Boltzmann method

Thesis abstract:

Based on Lattice Boltzmann Method, mcroscopic seepage field of real soil is simulated. The basic model D2Q9 is used. The inlet and outlet boundary is constructed by setting the non-equilibrium extrapolation format. The soil particles boundary as well as left and right water-proof boundary is set by the bounce-back format. At first, the data of physical units form experiments is transformed into lattice units. Then numerical simulation of matlab apply to data structure generated by CT scanned slices. Finally, the results of lattice units transform into physical units.
